Dorrigo Preschool has been delivering early childhood education for 50 years. We're committed to creating safe, engaging and nurturing environments where every child is supported to thrive. Our service is community based, not-for-profit, and operates a preschool program during NSW school terms. Based on the beautiful Dorrigo Plateau, we offer a supportive workplace, encourage your professional goals and continued learning, and celebrate our team and community.

Your responsibilities will Include:

• Providing leadership and support to educators and staff within your team in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

• Collaborating with the Educational Leader to assist with the development, implementation and critical reflection of the educational program to provide a high-quality program for all children and families.

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.

• In the absence of the Director, undertaking responsibilities as per the Responsible Person policy and procedure for the day-to-day management of the Service.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent).

NSW Working with Children Check.

Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection certification.

Australian working rights.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team.

Demonstrated ability to promote quality educational outcomes for children under the guidance of the Early Years Learning Framework.

The ability to start Term 4, 2025
