As we continue to grow our presence both domestically and internationally, we are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and recruitment initiatives and contribute to the expansion of student enrolments.
The Role
As Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and wider team to implement marketing campaigns, support student recruitment, and engage with prospective students and stakeholders in the various markets. You will also collaborate with Student Services to enhance the student experience, ensuring our local students feel connected, supported, and engaged. This role may also involve occasional interaction with education agents to support recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the Head of Marketing with digital marketing activities, campaign execution, and student recruitment initiatives.
· Liaise directly with prospective students, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and timely course information.
· Manage and respond to student and parent inquiries via email, phone, online chat, and social media.
· Create and manage engaging social media content, and explore new platforms for greater market exposure.
· Develop promotional material tailored to specific countries or regions.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
· Attend promotional events, education fairs, and networking functions.
· Undertake community outreach, including visits to schools, community centres, libraries, churches, and job centres to promote Ozford programs.
· Collaborate with Student Services to enhance the domestic student experience, including organising engagement activities, gathering feedback, and promoting student services.
· Assist prospective students with visa-related concerns by connecting them to relevant support.
· Work occasionally with education agents to support specific recruitment campaigns or market activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or related field.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing support or a similar role.
· Proven track record in marketing and achieving sales targets.
· Experience working with international and domestic students and cross-cultural communication.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
· Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
· Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude.
· Possess a Victorian driver's license.
Desirable:
· Fluency in a second language.
· Skills in photography, videography, and digital media advertising.
