JOB FUNCTIONS
The Marketing Coordinator is a dual-brand support role, working across both SolutionOne and Edunet to assist in the creation, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, sales performance, and customer engagement. This junior role supports the General Manager – Sales and works closely with internal sales teams, external partners, and key vendors to deliver impactful marketing that supports growth across the education and commercial technology sectors. You will contribute to a wide range of marketing activities—from digital content and social media campaigns to event coordination and vendor co-marketing—while gaining valuable experience in B2B marketing in a supportive and fast-paced environment. ABOUT THE JOB
The role offers a broad range of experiences across digital, event, and partner marketing, offering the chance to grow your skillset quickly.
You’ll work closely with the Sales GM, with direct mentorship and insight into how marketing impacts business development and customer engagement.
You’ll work across two distinct but aligned brands—Edunet, focused on K–12 education technology, and SolutionOne, servicing broader markets including SMB and commercial sectors
You will gain exposure to industry-leading brands such as Lenovo, Microsoft, ASUS, Promethean, and more.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation
- Assist in writing and developing engaging content for social media, website pages, blogs, and case studies.
- Coordinate asset creation using Canva or Adobe tools, ensuring brand consistency across both SolutionOne and Edunet.
Social Media Management
- Schedule and manage content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook across both brands.
- Track engagement and recommend improvements for visibility and engagement.
Email Marketing
- Schedule and manage content calendars for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook across both brands.
- Track engagement and recommend improvements for visibility and engagement.
Event Planning & Support
- Assist in the end-to-end planning of conferences, trade shows, school-based events, and webinars.
- Coordinate event logistics including promotional materials, signage, and follow-up communications.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Work with vendors (e.g. Lenovo, Microsoft, Promethean, ASUS) to align on co-marketing activities.
- Track market development funds (MDF) and assist in claim submissions.
- Support partner-led promotions and product campaigns.
Sales Team Enablement
- Assist in updating sales presentations, brochures, and tender response documents.
- Support the GM
– Sales with campaign execution and administrative tasks as required.
Website Support
- Assist in updating website content (news, product listings, event banners, blog posts).
- Work with web developers or third-party partners where necessary to support updates.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain marketing campaign trackers and content calendars.
- Assist in preparing monthly marketing performance summaries.
- Organise image and file libraries for use across marketing projects.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
1–2 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or design role (internship or junior position welcomed)
Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms
Basic design skills using tools like Canva
Strong writing and communication skills
Familiarity with email platforms such as Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Comfortable working across multiple brands and projects simultaneously
Interest in education, government or commercial tech sectors

NEXT STEPS:

As part of our recruitment process, we will be utilising an online video interview platform for the first round of interviews.
This will be part of our screening process and all applicants shortlisted for the position will be emailed a link to answer 5 quick questions using either their phone or PC to record answers.
