About the role:

Bayside Handyman Service is seeking an experienced Handyperson to join our team in Melbourne Bayside area. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for providing a wide range of maintenance and handyperson services to our valued clients.

Bayside Handyman Service is a small family owned company providing repair, maintenance and carpentry services to residential and commercial clients in Melbourne Bayside area. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality and customer service and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

What you'll be doing:

Performing general maintenance, repair and installation tasks across commercial and residential properties

Undertaking a variety of handyman duties such as carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling and general plumbing

Responding promptly to service requests and troubleshooting issues

Maintaining a high level of workmanship and attention to detail

Ensuring work is completed safely and to the client's satisfaction

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role preferred

Strong practical skills across a range of trades including (but not limited to) carpentry, general repairs & maintenance, basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team

Current driver's licence

High level attention to detail

Time management

Polite and well presented

Ability to problem solve and find appropriate solutions

Ability to use job scheduling app and working collaboratively with administration

Must be skilled and experienced in the following:

Carpentry (all aspects)

General home maintenance and repairs

Cabinetry/joinery

Plastering and painting

Tiling, grouting, caulking

Basic plumbing
