Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement & Inventory Manager to join our team. This role reports to the General Manager, and you will be responsible for overseeing the full supply chain lifecycle across procurement, inventory, stores, and logistics, with a key focus on driving cost efficiency, maintaining budget discipline, and ensuring strict compliance with financial and procurement controls.

Key Responsibilities

Lead supply chain functions: Oversee procurement, inventory, stores, and logistics, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.

Optimise performance: Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, stock control, and cost management.

Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with project, operations, and engineering teams to forecast and plan material, equipment, and logistics needs.

Manage team leadership: Direct and support the Procurement and Logistics team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Control inventory and assets: Oversee availability, tracking, and maintenance of consumables, PPE, tools, and materials across all sites.

Coordinate goods movement: Ensure timely inward and outward goods handling, including off-site usage and freight management.

Oversee procurement: Manage supplier selection, negotiation, purchasing, and compliance to deliver value for money.

Maintain supplier relationships: Foster strong partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.

Ensure governance and compliance: Enforce internal controls, approval processes, and compliance with legislative and ethical requirements.

About You

Essential

5+ years of experience in a procurement, inventory or logistics role, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

Strong working knowledge of procurement principles, inventory systems, and supplier management.

Qualification in Inventory Management, Business, Logistics or related field.

Demonstrated experience in leading teams, process improvement, and cost control.

Proficiency in inventory or ERP systems

Preferred

Advanced qualification in procurement, logistics, inventory, or supply chain management.

Experience with project-based procurement and contractor logistics support.

Familiarity with ISO systems, OHS regulations, and compliance-driven environments.
