Inventory Controller

PTE Hydraulics is a respected and steadily growing manufacturer based on Brisbane’s Southside. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Inventory Controller to take ownership of inventory accuracy across our operations.

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee inventory management and control across multiple stores, optimise materials availability, and implement process improvements that drive real results. Working as a key member of our Purchasing team, you'll play a hands-on role in managing stock and ensuring operations run seamlessly.

You bring

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to stock accuracy

Strong organisational and time management skills

Clear, confident communication across teams and with suppliers

A solutions-focused mindset and initiative to improve processes

Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory workflows

A forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

What You'll Be Doing

Managing and maintaining inventory across warehouse and production sites

Conducting stocktakes, cycle counts and investigating discrepancies

Monitoring stock levels and usage patterns to avoid shortages

Ensuring materials are stored and tracked correctly and efficiently

Resolve stock issues with stores in real time

Updating and maintaining ERP system records with precision

Following up on purchase orders to keep inventory flowing

Driving continuous improvement in stores and inventory practices
