About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Pipe Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our team at C J Fabrications and Engineering Pty Ltd in Bomaderry, NSW. This is a full-time position, and you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing and maintaining a variety of metal structures, pipes and equipment.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and other technical documents to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures, piping systems and equipment

Performing welding, cutting, bending, rolling and other metalworking techniques to shape and join metal components

Fitting and securing metal parts and assemblies using hand and power tools

Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to specification

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Boilermaking or Pipe Fitting, or equivalent industry experience

Demonstrated proficiency in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and stick welding

Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills
