Disability Support Workers – Opportunities Across Adelaide
Locations: Roles available across Adelaide including Southern, Western and Central suburbs.
Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking to join an ethical provider that puts participants first? Utopia Care is currently recruiting passionate, values-driven individuals for casual positions across our 24/7 active roster, including overnight shifts.
We deliver a range of personalised NDIS services, and as a Support Worker with us, you’ll play a vital role in empowering individuals to live more independently, develop new skills, and achieve their personal goals.
Your role will include:
Supporting participants with personal care and daily living activities, either one-on-one or as part of a team
Facilitating community access including attending appointments and social activities
Implementing skill development, educational and social opportunities
Contributing to the implementation and review of personalised support plans
Maintaining clear, accurate documentation on progress and participant wellbeing
Providing consistent, person-centred support that promotes independence and individual choice
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking experienced Disability Support Workers who bring professionalism, empathy, and a strong understanding of person-centred practice. A working knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards is essential, along with a commitment to ethical and high-quality support.
To be considered, you must have:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
NDIS Worker Check
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation and Induction Modules
Working With Children Check (DHS)
Current First Aid and CPR
Manual Handling certification
Medication Administration training
Through Their Eyes training (or willingness to obtain)
Valid Australian Driver's Licence with comprehensive car insurance and registration
Willingness to use your own vehicle for participant transport
Flexibility to work across various shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnights
Experience working with individuals living with disabilities and their families or guardians
