Adecco is proudly partnering with one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest distributors of semi-finished engineering thermoplastics , currently seeking a skilled and motivated CNC professional to join their team in Regency Park . This position offers ongoing support from a fantastic team with a generous base salary, including superannuation and bonuses.

🔧About the Role

This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in CNC milling and lathe operation , programming (preferably using FANUC controls ), and the ability to work across prototype, small-batch, and medium-run jobs . You’ll be a critical part of a collaborative, safety-focused, and technically advanced workshop.

🛠️ Key responsibilities in this role include;

• Program, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines and CNC Lathes (3-axis)
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Perform quality checks at every stage of production
• Collaborate with the Production Manager on scheduling and workflow
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient machine areas
• Assist with tooling setup and adjustment
• Work on a variety of jobs: prototypes, one-offs, and runs ranging from 10–2000 parts
• Ensure adherence to tight tolerances and high-quality standards

🎯To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualifications in machining or CNC
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment
• Ability to program, set, and operate CNC equipment (FANUC experience desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience working with engineering plastics is highly regarded
• Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Comfortable with both manual and CNC machine work
• Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused
