The Role

We're looking for a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to lead group consolidations, deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, and support executive decision-making.

The role has the following key duties and responsibilities:

• Own and deliver all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual group and asset-level financial reporting, including consolidation of subsidiaries
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g. AASB/IFRS)
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. part-time finance staff, external accountants) to ensure timely reporting across all group entities
• Prepare board-level finance packs, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis with commentary
• Maintain and improve the group consolidation model, tools and reporting templates
• Maintain the corporate financial model
• Support shareholder and investor reporting, including responding to ad hoc data requests
• Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations
• Work closely with the FP&A and Business Operations functions to align reporting and forecasting
• Assist with audit coordination and year-end statutory reporting
• Ad hoc finance related tasks

Experience Required:

Prospective candidates should hold a degree in business or commerce or a related field and be able to provide evidence of:

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to group reporting or consolidation in a multi-entity environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in AASB/IFRS
• Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting and consolidation systems (e.g. Xero and Power BI) is advantageous
• Proven ability to manage timelines and multiple stakeholders across functions
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and growing organisation
• Experience in renewables or infrastructure sectors
• Exposure to shareholder or investor reporting environments
• Familiarity with financial covenant and debt reporting obligations
