In this role, you will support the Financial Compliance team by maintaining the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and developing financial processes and policies. You will also collaborate with service partners and provide financial advice to operational staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance the general ledger, including Fare Revenue accounts.
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations and conduct quarterly/annual reviews.
• Develop and update financial policies and provide guidance to operational teams.
• Collaborate with partners like Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS).
• Provide financial advice and lead the Financial Compliance team.

About You:
• Tertiary accounting qualification will be highly regarded, although not mandatory.
• Strong background in GL reconciliations and Australian accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver complex financial information clearly and to work effectively with key stakeholders.
• Highly developed time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines while ensuring a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
