About you
You have experience working with health-related organisations and in health research, with a strong understanding of university processes and culture. You are confident in developing and delivering adult training, using clear communication and cultural sensitivity to engage diverse audiences. Your collaborative approach, reliability, and commitment to continuous learning make you well-suited to contribute effectively to teaching, research, and community engagement initiatives.
About the role
You will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, research, and professional activities of the Academic Unit. Your primary focus will be on Aboriginal health curriculum development and delivery, as well as providing advice and teaching in these areas for the Unit’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

To be successful you will need
- To identify as an Australian Aboriginal person with a strong understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal tertiary students and familiarity with Aboriginal communities
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with relevant experience in Aboriginal culture, health, or research
- Proven teaching capability, including preparation of learning materials, effective student engagement, and use of digital tools for curriculum delivery
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners
- Demonstrated organisational skills, independence, and commitment to continual professional and research development
