Description

Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
• Lead and mentor a small team of accounts payable officers.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Oversee the implementation and adherence to accounts payable policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly accounts payable reports and assist with financial forecasting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

A successful AP Manager should have:

• Proven experience in managing accounts payable functions
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
