Located in the heart of the picturesque Yarra Valley, just 90 minutes from Melbourne, the Alpine Hotel is the perfect place to eat, drink, and stay. Our beautifully restored venue features 32 guest rooms, a public bar, multiple dining spaces, a private dining room, function areas, and a stunning beer garden overlooking the Yarra River.

We are passionate about showcasing the flavours of the Yarra Valley with seasonal menus, house-made dishes, and fresh, locally sourced produce — all while honouring our traditional roots.

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for Friday prep and running our breakfast service on Saturdays and Sundays, with the opportunity for additional shifts to cover leave and busy periods.

You’ll be working alongside a talented and passionate team, led by our Executive Chef, who are committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience every time.

About You

Proven experience in a similar role is essential

Resilient under pressure with a strong work ethic

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding of food safety standards

Meticulous attention to detail

Available every Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Genuine passion for cooking and delivering quality dishes
