Your New Role

As a Shift Electrician, you’ll play a key role in supporting high-end production lines, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients in the food, beverage, and FMCG sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing shift coverage (day, afternoon, or night) for preventative and reactive maintenance.

Troubleshooting electrical systems and automation equipment to maintain production efficiency.

Working with PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), variable speed drives, and machine safety systems.

Collaborating with our mechanical and automation teams on innovative projects.

Operating in our Moorabbin workshop or onsite, delivering 24/7 breakdown support.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll bring:

Trade Qualification: Licensed Electrician (essential).

Experience: Background in food production or FMCG environments is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens) and SCADA systems.

Experience with variable speed drives and instrumentation.

Knowledge of machine safety standards (AS4024.1).

Experience within FMCG Industry providing shift coverage & support

Work Ethic: A team player with a can-do attitude, able to work unsupervised.

Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and shifts (day, afternoon, or night).

Preferred:

Advanced fault-finding skills.

Experience installing electrical equipment and systems.

EWP license.
