We're looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Electrician with the oportunnity to go permanent.

You will be working for a successful print manufacturer. Due to the nature of the role, a background in food/beverage/packaging/FMCG or similar manufacturing maintenance is essential.

The company produces a range of products and have high standards in the quality to meet their clients needs.

The role

As a skilled Maintenance Electrician OR Fitter with electrical disconnect/reconnect the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from project work & insulations through to general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving.

You will be working autonomously on the night shift and therefore a strong mechanical knowledge is essential The majority of breakdowns are mechanical.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day to day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
• Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
• Diagnostics and fault finding.
• Process improvement of plant and equipment.
• Operate & Service Machinery.
• Provide technical support to the production team.
• Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Experience:

• Trade Qualified with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments.
• Valid A grade electrical licence
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
