The Opportunity

Join a successful and growing provider of electronic security solutions, delivering critical infrastructure across government, banking, retail, and commercial sectors.

This is a newly created role due to growth, and the company is looking to expand its already impressive market share. You’ll step into a fast-moving environment where client satisfaction comes first and team culture is grounded in trust, high performance, and mutual support.

You’ll be reporting to a manager who understands that people are the key to success and believes in empowering the team to succeed.

Your Role

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients across multiple sectors
  • Deliver compelling value propositions and tailored solutions
  • Own and manage a high-value sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape commercial strategy
  • Regularly visit clients across your territory (Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane-based depending on your location)
  • Present to and influence senior executives and technical stakeholders
  • Use a consultative sales approach to identify pain points and craft effective solutions
  • Create meaningful, solution-based client relationships built on trust and expertise
  • Identify market trends and new business opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and evolving customer needs
  • Focus on creating exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales cycle

About You

  • Proven success in business development or solution-based B2B sales
  • Experience in the electronic security industry (CCTV, access control, alarms, networking, analytics)
  • Existing industry network and client connections
  • Ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Confident managing tenders, proposals, and commercial contracts
  • Self-starter with strong internal drive and integrity
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Valid Australian driver’s license
  • Team-first attitude with a passion for learning and growth
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and motivated to make an impact
