Join us as a support worker and start gaining practical experience while working alongside qualified therapists. Our career development pathway can take you from a Support Worker to a Team Leader and eventually a Therapy Assistant. And that's not all - we have small regular pay rises at set milestones if you attend regular training with our Therapy staff and meet clearly defined objectives in your work.

At Ascend, we're passionate about delivering a comprehensive training program ensures you can feel confident of providing quality care and support to the members you work with. Between initial buddy shifts, training opportunities and regular monthly team assemblies, you'll receive an average of 2 hours of paid training every month delivered by quality therapists and experienced senior support workers.

About the Role

Get ready for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our members! As a part of our team, you'll be working closely with our clients, providing personal care, domestic assistance, community access, mentorship, and 1:1 support to help them achieve their individual NDIS goals.

We're looking for candidates passionate about healthcare, who can preferably show us their previous experience in supporting clients with disabilities, especially those with complex behaviours and/or health needs. You'll have the chance to put your skills and experience to the test, making a significant impact on our members' lives.
