Joining the Monarto Safari Resort team, you will play an integral role in supporting our business as we continue to share special places and shape lasting memories for our guests.
About the role
The Junior Sous Chef plays a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. This position involves leading the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef and ensuring that all culinary activities align with the Executive Chef’s vision. Key responsibilities include the meticulous preparation and execution of the menu for both guests and employees at the Monarto Safari Resort.
The Junior Sous Chef is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food production, compliance, and hygiene within the Resort. This role requires a strong focus on quality control to guarantee exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Executive Chef to uphold the culinary standards and foster a positive kitchen environment.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
a minimum of 3 years experience in similar position
Commercial Cookery Certificate
Pride in delivering the best standards of guest service, ensuring our guests leave us with lasting memories.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to produce excellent high-quality food
High level of attention to detail
