ABOUT YOU
Delta Group are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Workshop Mechanic.
As a Workshop Mechanic for Delta Group you will be working in a fully equipped workshop with overhead cranes and specialised tools and be required to service and maintain a variety of heavy plant and equipment as well as attachments for our multiple divisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Perform routine maintenance on earthmoving equipment and attachments.
Minor and major repairs on earthmoving equipment and attachments.
Trouble shooting and fault repairs.
Be enthusiastic punctual and take pride in appearance and work.
To succeed in this role you will have a range of skills and attributes, including:
ESSENTIAL
Passion for people and their safety.
Permanent residency.
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test if required.
Valid Driver’s Licence.
A trade qualification in heavy plant mechanics.
Experience with late model heavy plant, equipment and attachments.
DESIRABLE
Demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written.
Proven capacity to multi-task.
High level decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and follow up.
