About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drill & Blast Engineer to join the team at Omada Resources'. Based in our Perth, WA office, this full-time role will see you play a key part in the planning and delivery of drill and blast operations across our mining projects.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective drill and blast plans to optimise productivity and efficiency

Liaise with site operations teams to ensure drill and blast activities are executed safely and to specification

Analyse drill and blast data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and company policies

Provide technical expertise and training to site personnel as required

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to achieve project objectives

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar

Extensive experience as a Drill & Blast Engineer, ideally within the mining & civil industry

Strong technical knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques and equipment

WA Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to interpret data and develop optimised blast designs

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Commitment to safety and environmental best practice

Proficient in the use of relevant software (e.g. Blast Movement Monitoring, Shotplus, Vulcan)
