About the role:

Groundbreaking Mining Solutions (GMS) is looking for a Drill Specialist to join our team. This is a FIFO role, offering a 8:6 roster. Reporting directly to our client onsite you'll work within their crew and engage in drill servicing, fault finding, and commissioning.

Ideal candidates will have relevant trade qualifications, with skills in hydraulics, auto-electrics, and diagnostics. Equipment experience with Epiroc D65, CAT MD6310 and MD6250, and Sandvik Di650i Leopard drills is desired.

About you:

Relevant trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Diesel, Auto Electrical, Hydraulic, or a related field.

Experience with Epiroc, CAT & Sandvik drill rigs

Previous experience in a similar role

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in fault finding & breakdowns

LF, DG, and CN tickets are highly desirable but not essential; we will provide the necessary certifications for the right candidate

Rio Tinto inducted, advantageous but not essential.
