We are looking to add a Graduate - Intermediate Accountant to our Rockingham team. We require a dedicated professional to service our existing and new clients in our highly regarded business. You will be working under management of a senior accountant, and will be supported by a great admin team, a fun and respectful workplace with high focus on customer satisfaction, and both employee and business growth potential.

Internal and external training is ongoing, in both casual and formal information sessions.

Key Selection Criteria;

• Either Commerce or Business Bachelor’s degree (with suitable accounting qualifications) or working toward completion of similar study;

• Some experience in a business services environment;

• Customer service experience;

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, manage workflow efficiently and accurately and to meet deadlines;

• Ability to learn and undertake tax planning, accounting, compliance and advice needs of companies, partnership and trust structures;

• Some ability to prepare income tax returns, financial statements, BAS, IAS and GST returns; and

• Proficient in MS Office suite of products, with strong knowledge of excel.

• Confident dealing with clients directly

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well in both a written and non-written form.

Advantageous;

• Minimum of one year Australian tax experience;

• Experience with Xero Practice Manager;

• Xero Handiledger Financial Statements and work papers;

• XERO, Quickbooks and MYOB.
