Today, having developed a reputation for consistently delivering safe, reliable, and professional contract services for national and international underground mining projects, Westfill is a principal underground mining contractor and a full-service provider for mining operations.

What you'll do:

• Installation and maintenance of underground pneumatic doors.
• Installation and maintenance of escape ways, rising mains, pump stations.
• General underground infrastructure upgrades.
• Assist with form work and concrete, and other civil works as required.
• Work closely with mining and engineering teams to complete projects safely and efficiently.

What you'll need:

• Previous underground mining experience (Projects Crew essential).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks in tough conditions.
• Valid manual driver’s license and ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures and dangerous goods card.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety standards.
