Production Manager – Paint Manufacturing $100,000 – $120,000 + performance-based bonuses

My client is a growing paint manufacturer based in Wetherill Park, committed to delivering high-quality products to our clients. Recently acquired, the business is undergoing exciting changes, and we’re looking for a driven and capable Production Manager to take charge of daily operations and help lead the company into its next phase.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a business that values initiative, problem-solving, and clear communication. There’s also an opportunity to help build a strong company culture from the ground up.

About the Role
As Production Manager, you will oversee all daily operations on the production floor, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for scheduling, reporting, team leadership, WHS compliance, and identifying ways to improve systems and processes. You’ll work closely with the business owner and have full ownership of your area.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily production operations and lead a team of 24

Implement and maintain scheduling, tracking, and reporting systems

Monitor and improve processes, quality control, and productivity

Maintain a safe, compliant, and clean work environment

Motivate and position crew based on strengths and ability

Support customer service functions as needed

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, strategic thinker with solid experience in a similar production, manufacturing, or engineering environment. You should be calm under pressure, highly organised, and a strong communicator.

Essential Skills and Experience

Prior leadership in a factory or manufacturing environment

Background in operations, engineering, or related field

Excellent people management and communication skills

WHS knowledge and commitment to safety

Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset

• Able to lead without micromanaging – trustworthy and accountable
• Bonus Points For Experience In Paint or Chemical Production
