About the Office of Future Students, Marketing and Communications
The Office of Future Students, Marketing and Communications leads Western’s efforts to attract, engage, and support future students - both domestic and international. Through targeted marketing, communications, and outreach, we highlight what makes Western unique and connect with the audiences who matter most.
Our work spans student recruitment, international admissions and compliance, brand and campaign delivery, digital marketing, social media, content creation, events, and communications. We strengthen Western’s brand through compelling storytelling and targeted campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, as well as school and community engagement programs, including equity-focused initiatives that reach tens of thousands of K-12 students each year.
About the Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking a highly organised and proactive Web Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a major digital transformation project.
This role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of the University’s web migration project from Squiz CMS to Adobe AEM, ensuring that project timelines, risk management, stakeholder communications, and engagement are effectively handled. The position plays a key role in supporting the successful implementation of a secure, compliant, and centralised digital environment that enhances the University's web presence.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage project planning, communication flows, change readiness, and governance activities throughout both the migration and post-migration phases.
This is an excellent opportunity to help modernise and consolidate Western’s digital footprint through collaborative, high-impact project delivery.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 19 December 2025. The position will be based at Western’s Hawkesbury (Richmond) Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required. Please review the position description for further information.

You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in project coordination, communications, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with experience tracking timelines, risks, and communications across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience working in a web or digital environment, with exposure to CMS, analytics or personalisation tools (e.g. AEM, Adobe Analytics, Smartsheet).
- Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and technical specialists.
- This role suits someone who understands both the human and technical side of digital delivery, and is motivated by meaningful, end-user-facing transformation.
