Systems Engineer - Migration Project (6-Month Contract)

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with a proven track record in Microsoft 365 (M365) migrations? We’re seeking a talented professional to join us on a 6-month contract and support the technical delivery of a major migration project involving M365 and its supporting systems.

About the Role

This role will be central to a large-scale migration project, where M365 and associated supporting systems are at the core. You will be responsible for planning and executing the transition of key systems, ensuring a seamless migration and minimal disruption to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the migration of M365 and related systems as part of a wider transformation initiative.

Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Commercial, and Finance) to ensure business continuity during migrations.

Partner with external software vendors to deliver migration solutions.

Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all systems integrate effectively post-migration.

Develop and maintain robust documentation and handover materials.

Who You’ll Work With

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will collaborate daily with internal stakeholders across Information Technology, Operations, Customer Service, Commercial, and Finance, while also engaging with external software vendors to deliver project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) migrations, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Experience supporting and migrating integrated systems such as Mimecast, Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) software, and other security and compliance tools.

Solid knowledge of associated systems such as Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, identity management, and related infrastructure.

Demonstrated ability to support projects with multiple stakeholders.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, proactive approach.

Previous experience working with external vendors and internal teams.

Contract Details

6-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension.

Immediate start preferred.
