The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to become a pivotal part of the advisory process — someone who can confidently own the paraplanning functions, partner with advisers, and participate in coordinating the full lifecycle of advice implementation. You will work closely with a HNW portfolio, ensuring every strategy is technically sound, compliant, and aligned with each client’s unique goals. Service clients in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

The Role

• Collaborate with advisers to design and document sophisticated strategies tailored to HNW clients.
• Attend and contribute to client meetings as a technical expert and trusted second point of contact.
• Oversee preparation of high-quality SOAs, ROAs, and client-facing documentation.
• Ensure all advice is compliant, technically robust, and delivered within agreed timeframes.
• Drive continuous improvement in workflows, leveraging Xplan and other tools to boost efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and compliance knowledge, ensuring best practice across the team.
• Actively mentor and support junior paraplanners to lift overall team capability.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Financial Planning, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a paraplanning or strategy-focused role, ideally servicing HNW clients.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex client structures and develop tailored strategies.
• Highly proficient in Xplan and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Confident communicator, able to engage directly with discerning clients and professional partners.
• Proactive, commercially aware, and committed to continuous learning.
