About the role

Fat Boyz Small Bar is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef/Kitchen Leader to join our team in our West Perth. This is a full-time position that will see you leading our kitchen and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our customers.

Currently operating Monday to Friday with ambition to open for private functions on weekends in the future

What you'll be doing

Oversee all kitchen operations and staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production

Develop and implement creative, innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise and align with the brand

Manage food cost, inventory, and ordering to maximise profitability

Mentor, train and develop a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff

Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld

Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary leadership role

Formal culinary training and qualifications

Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing kitchen teams

Extensive knowledge of food costing, menu planning and inventory management

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and liaise with management

Passion for creating innovative, flavoursome dishes and delivering exceptional customer service

Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
