The Role

We’re seeking a proactive Project Manager / Engineer to work on a FIFO basis from Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, or Darwin. You’ll be delivering small- to medium-scale capital project packages—valued between $50K and $10M—across civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines in processing plants, mining infrastructure, and other heavy industry sites.

What You’ll Do

Deliver end-to-end projects: scope, budget, schedule, execution, HSE, and reporting

Manage multi-disciplinary packages—small to mid-sized capital works—across civil, mechanical, and electrical domains

Engage with Tier 1 mining clients and regional councils, ensuring smooth communication and quality outcomes

Lead teams in self-performing capacities while integrating subcontractors and external stakeholders effectively

Deliver projects safely, on budget, on time, and with high standards of quality, backed by proactive risk mitigation

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years’ experience managing capital projects in mining or heavy industry

Strong multi-disciplinary knowledge across civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering

Excellent team collaboration and leadership skills in high-performing environments

Self-starting, proactive, and adaptable in dynamic project settings

Comfortable with FIFO rosters and flexible work arrangements
