Our client is a strong market leader within their industry, proudly operating throughout the Hunter Region providing safe, efficient and sustainable high quality products and services.

Due to growth, we are searching for a highly motivated Sales Representative with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their team and drive the business further. The role of the Sales Representative will require you to work autonomously and is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, converting and driving sales opportunities and the satisfactory delivery of products and services.

Your territory will cover the Newcastle and Hunter Region.

The role:

• You’ll be a driving force in the success of the company’s goals and objectives through exceeding individual sales quotas and various KPI’s.
• Actively drive sales through following up of sales leads, build and manage a sales pipeline
• Conduct site visits or online meetings to assess suitability of product and installation requirements
• Prepare and follow up on quotes (preparation of quotes will be under assistance), converting leads into successful sales.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services and products to enhance customer value and retention
• Maintain a database of potential and existing clients ensuring all records/documents are maintained within the CRM system
• Work with customers to provide the appropriate solutions and products to meet their expectations
• Maintain technical / product knowledge
• Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through the proper use of sales tools and the understanding of the sales process

What we’re looking for:

• Track record of over-achieving quota in a current or past sales position
• Minimum 3 years sales experience
• Ability to identify client needs and solution sell
• Ability to manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate, influence and overcome objections
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
• Strong computer skills
• A current driver’s licence
• Full Australian working rights
