Located in modern facilities with fully maintained school grounds, students are equipped with tools and learning strategies to fulfil their personal and academic potential in a respectful and supportive environment.

This is an opportunity for a Technology Teacher to join the STEM Teaching Department in a growing school environment with a down-to-earth and committed teaching team.

The teaching load for this position amounts to a full time equivalent across the 10-day teaching cycle. There will also be free mornings and afternoons throughout the cycle.

About the Role

Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students in Years 7-12

Develop and implement creative, innovative, and differentiated teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of our students

Monitor and evaluate student progress in key learning areas

Assess student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and maintain detailed records

Contribute to the development of the curriculum and resources

Implementing effective student management consistent with the school charter

Participate actively in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice

Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive learning environment

Actively engage in the broader life of the school community

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will have:

Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Australian interstate equivalent;

Strong interpersonal skills in the context of relating to staff, students, parents and guardians, school support groups and members of the community;

Highly developed communication, planning, decision-making and negotiation skills; and

Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
