About the role
As a Rail Labourer, you will work alongside our skilled teams to assist in the maintenance, upgrade, and operation of our fleet of Resurfacing equipment. This is a hands-on role that involves both workshop-based tasks and onsite work with the Operations teams. This role is ideal for Rail Labourers seeking flexibility or weekend work.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the operations and asset teams in minimising downtime and ensuring seamless execution of maintenance and upgrade projects.
Assist tradespeople with maintenance tasks in both workshop and on-site environments.
Collaborate with team members across different departments to streamline maintenance and operational workflows.
Complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Brimble’s core values, policies, and operational guidelines.
Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Represent Brimble with professionalism and pride during all operational activities.
Be prepared to work with operations teams on track, which may require travel, night shifts, and weekend work.
About You
Previous experience in Rail or Civil Labouring, preferably within rail maintenance or infrastructure projects.
Current RIW - Rail Industry Worker Card.
Ability to pass and maintain Cat 1 Medical.
Construction White Card.
Current Drivers Licence.
Full Australian work rights.
A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Note: This role may require some travel and occasional work outside of normal business hours to meet operational and project deadlines.
