Workfast is seeking reliable Civil Labourers to join the early stages of a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, just north of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Pay Rate: $37.25 p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Cootamundra / Junee region, NSW
Hours: 6:00am start, 10 hour shifts
Start Date: Early August

This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure program delivering over 35km of new rail and civil works. The project includes bulk earthworks, drainage, road realignments, and rail corridor construction — with up to 2 years of work on offer.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assisting with cut and fill earthworks and general site prep
• Labouring support for plant operators, trades and concreters
• Spotting for machinery and working around live plant
• Installing drainage, rail fastenings, and structural elements
• Cleaning and maintaining a safe worksite
• Supporting multiple civil and rail construction teams

What you need

• Construction White Card
• Driver’s Licence
• Reliable transport to and from site
• Previous experience in civil or infrastructure labouring
• RIW Card - Bonus
• Additional tickets beneficial: Roller, Dogman, Confined Space, WAH
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Safety-first attitude and strong teamwork skills
