About us
The Glenelg Football Club participates in the SANFL competition. It is a community based sport and hospitality venue that aspires to be the most professional and successful club in Australia. Operating in the Bay's biggest backyard, the venue offers a beautiful location for our patrons and staff to enjoy.
We are now looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. The intent of this role is to offer a long term career pathway into venue management for the right candidate.
Qualifications & experience
Responsible Person Badge (must have)
Responsible Service of Alcohol (must have)
Advanced Gaming (Gaming and DM)
Sound understanding of Liquor & Gambling provisions and codes of practice
Experience with mentoring & people management
H & L reporting experience would also be advantageous
Tasks & responsibilities
Exceptional people management skills
Strong customer service skills
Proven experience in food and beverage operations
High standards of personal presentation
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work various, but structured weekday & weekend shifts
