Peter Ellsmore & Associates is a Wollongong based engineering and drafting consultancy that provides services to a variety of clients in the industrial, mining and construction industries across the Illawarra region and beyond.

An opportunity exists to join our team supporting our clients from one of our Illawarra offices. The position can include both capital projects and ongoing plant support.

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate;

Relevant technical qualifications.

Significant drafting experience ideally including leading and supervising a team of drafters

Significant experience with Inventor 3D modelling and production of drawings is essential, ideally including Vault.

Significant AutoCAD experience

Excellent knowledge of mechanical and structural equipment in a heavy industrial environment

Able to prepare drawings & contribute to the design of

General heavy industrial equipment

Steel processing lines

Mechanical & materials handling equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, hopper, chutes, material transfer systems

Steel structures

Plant Layouts

Design experience associated with steel production, iron ore, coal, or other related industries

Minimum 10-15 years relevant industry experience

Ability to work with direction and supervision from an engineer

Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards

Excellent communication skills
