Join Our Team - Demolition & Asbestos Removal Workers Wanted

Coffs Harbour Demolitions (CHD) is a well-established family-owned Demolition and Asbestos Removal Company that has a strong record of undertaking a multitude of services for a range of clientele, including government, multi-tier construction companies, developers and private sectors across NSW.

We are looking to fill several general demolition labouring positions with an immediate start offered for the right candidates.

A pre-employment medical and police check is mandatory for all successful applicants.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We offer on-the-job training as well as offering opportunities to upskill.

The applicant must:

Be punctual, reliable and have a professional attitude

Be able to understand and follow instructions

Be physically fit and comfortable to perform very physical manual labour tasks on site

Be willing to learn and have good communication skills

Have a strong positive safety mindset

Have a driver's licence and own transport

Have a white card

Be able to pass a pre-employment medical

Undertake a police check

Be able to partake in random drug and alcohol screening

Be able to use all kinds of hand and power tools

Be flexible to work after hours and weekends as work hours vary from site to site (overtime rates apply)

Be willing to work in a team environment

Have current work references

Have permanent residency in Australia (please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement)

Skills that are not essential but would be highly regarded for the role:

Have at least 2-3 years of experience in demolition or the construction industry

Have a Class B non-friable asbestos removal ticket (highly regarded)

Medium Rigid Vehicle (MR) Licence or above (highly regarded)

Telehandler/forklift ticket

EWP ticket

SWAH ticket
