APG Workforce is currently seeking experienced Road Workers for a 2-month Government assignment based in Deniliquin, NSW.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $42.43 per hour + Super + Overtime
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 8.5 hours per day, 76 hours per fortnight
• Roster: 9-day fortnight

About the Role:
You will perform a variety of routine maintenance and repair tasks on road infrastructure, working independently or as part of a team under the direction of a Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Road pavement repairs, pothole patching, and shove removal
• Guard rail and guide post installation/repairs
• Signage maintenance
• Rubbish collection
• Traffic control assistance
• Responding to callouts and routine maintenance activities
• Safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and small machinery

Essential Requirements:

• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Class C Driver’s Licence or above (mandatory)
• Workers on Foot (WOF) training – must have or be willing to obtain prior to commencement
• Traffic Control (TC) ticket – preferred, or willingness to obtain

Desirable:

• Implement Traffic Control Plans ticket
• Previous experience in road maintenance or civil labouring
