Billy's Buddies is a Ball Sports Program inspired by NRL Superstar, Billy Slater, for children aged 2-6. Our Program is designed to teach children the basics of all ball sports in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.

TRL Juniors is a non-contact Rugby League Program for kids aged 6-12. The Program consists of both training and competition elements.

Mission –The primary goal of both Billy’s Buddies and TRL is to introduce as many children as possible (between the ages of 2 and 12) to the basics of rugby league in a non-contact, fun, social and affordable setting.

Vision –To teach all Australian children the fundamental skills of sport and inspire them to lead an active, healthy lifestyle.

About the role

Get an amazing hourly rate (up to $46/hr + Super pending experience) for having fun with kids!

We are looking for dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic and eager Coaches to deliver our Programs to children throughout Greater Brisbane and Ipswich. Candidates must meet the below criteria:

The candidate will be able to Coach children between 2 and 12 years of age in various venues such as rugby league grounds, parks, schools and Childcare Centres

Be dedicated to the development and growth of young children

Have sound knowledge of ball sports

Must be willing to travel

Must have own Car/License

The candidate must be creative and have the ability to coach fun non-contact ball games

Be able to work independently and drive client base

Immediate starts available in:

Greater Brisbane

Requirements

Current Paid Blue Card (or willing to obtain);

First-Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain);

Must be willing to travel & have own Car/License - P plates as a minimum requirement

Be available at least 2 mornings during the week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) as well as Saturday mornings.

Be available at least 2 of the following afternoon/evening timeslots for TRL (Monday 4:30-7:00pm; Tuesday 4:30-7:00pm; and Thursday 4:30-7:00pm)

Desirable

Experience working with children

Sports coaching qualification

Sport-related or teaching tertiary education

Candidates that meet and believe in the above will be contacted and shortlisted for interviews. If successful, candidates will then commence a paid training program.
