At GeckoSports, every day is different!

GeckoSports offer kids a fun and interactive start to sport and fitness for life. We give children the inspiration and confidence to be physically active and try their hand at playing different sports through our scientifically designed Early Learning (KUBS), Primary School and Junior High School aged programs.

We deliver programs across 20+ sports to help kids get active, build confidence, and have fun. We are a nationally accredited coaching partner to 12 sports and offer another 10 unique GeckoSports designed programs.

Locations & Hours
We run programs across the Gold Coast, South Brisbane, and Northern NSW, with programs typically running between 8:30am – 5:30pm at various venues.

We operate 7 days a week, with weekends often busy with birthday parties, events, and shopping center activities.

Hours vary between 8–20 per week, depending on your availability.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate, energetic coaches who:

LOVE working with kids:

Have experience working with children or coaching junior sport

Are studying teaching, sports/exercise science, or fitness

Are parents passionate about kids’ health and activity

Right now, we especially need coaches to jump straight into:

Early Learning programs (toddlers 12 months – 5 years)

Gymnastics

Football Academy (Soccer)

September School Holiday programs

What you will need;

QLD Working with Children - Compulsary

NSW Working with Children (optional)

Additional:

We also prefer to have coaches who have;

Current First Aid Certificate

AIS 'Community Coaching in General Principals' Certificate

AIS ‘Play by the Rules’ Certificate

Level 1 and Level 2 coaching certificates
