Our Events Officer provides administrative, planning, and organizational support to an events team, contributing to the successful execution of events. This role involves managing various aspects of event planning, including logistics, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Administrative Support:
Managing event logistics, including room bookings, catering, and technical equipment.
Planning and Organization:
Assisting with the development of event plans, timelines, and budgets.
Communication:
Maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including attendees, speakers, and vendors.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
Logistics Management:
Coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, and transportation for attendees and speakers.
Post-Event Evaluation:
Assisting with post-event surveys and providing recommendations for future events.
Collaboration:
Working effectively within a team environment and collaborating with other departments or organizations.
Adaptability:
Managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities and circumstances.
Technical Skills:
Depending on the role, proficiency in event management software, social media platforms, and other relevant technologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills are crucial.

Key Projects
Delivery of annual conference, including all logistics, sales of sponsorship and some marketing of the event
Delivery Annual Pecha Kucha national event
Delivery of International Passivhaus Open Days - site tours of around 30 homes/buildings around the nation
Delivery of Monthly webinar series
Sales of partnerships and sponsorship
We are looking for someone who can work from our office for 2 days a week. Our office is on Rundle Street in Adelaide.
The is a 3-4 day a week role.
