About the Role.

We're looking for a driven, sharp, and courtroom-ready lawyer to join our clients' high-performing criminal defence team. This is your chance to work on complex and high-stakes cases—from bail applications to jury trials—right from the outset.

You’ll appear regularly in the ACT Magistrates and Supreme Courts, manage your own files (with mentorship), and be directly involved in crafting innovative defences for clients from all walks of life.

There are clear progression pathways, transparent bonus structures and the ability to experience criminal defence on a national scale.

Ideal candidate.

• Recently admitted to practice in Australia (0–2 years PAE)
• Demonstrated court experience—as a solicitor, legal support, or through an associateship with the court.
• A strong understanding of criminal procedure and evidence (or experience within civil litigation)
• A confident, articulate advocate with excellent oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for criminal law and access to justice
