PCH Civil is a growing civil construction company with a strong focus on quality, people, and long-term partnerships. As we scale, we are looking for a proven, high-impact safety leader to join our Executive Team as Head of Safety.

This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Board, where you’ll drive company-wide safety strategy—while staying connected to operations and people on the ground. We're after someone who brings both vision and delivery, capable of evolving our systems and culture as we grow.

What We’re Looking For:

A strategic and respected safety executive with 10+ years’ experience in mining, civil, and/or infrastructure.

Proven experience managing safety across high-risk construction, mining, and infrastructure settings.

Experience developing, simplifying, and embedding integrated HSET systems.

Capability to operate at board level—clear communicator, confident presenter, and data-driven decision maker.

Passion for coaching, mentoring and building leadership capability across operational teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the development and execution of the group-wide HSET strategy.

Enhance our safety systems, processes and technology platforms.

Continue developing our strong safety culture through consistent leadership and engagement at all levels.

Present performance reports and insights to the Board.

Oversee internal audit and assurance programs and maintain ISO & FSC accreditations.

Stay hands-on—regular site visits and active engagement with site teams.
