Your role will include:

• Preparing and cooking nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet dietary requirements for residents
• Ensuring food safety standards are met at all times (HACCP knowledge essential)
• Adapting menus to individual dietary needs, including allergies, texture modifications, and cultural preferences
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Working collaboratively with kitchen staff, management, and care teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience
• Managing stock rotation and ordering supplies where required

About you:

• Certificate III - Commercial Cookery or higher
• Previous experience working in aged care, healthcare, or similar high-care environments
• Knowledge of special dietary requirements and food safety guidelines
• Current police clearance (or willing to obtain)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination compliance (as per industry requirements)
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently
