We are currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our growing team in Newcastle, providing essential care in residential aged care settings.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clinical nursing care to residents in line with their care plans.

Administer medications and perform clinical assessments.

Monitor and manage residents’ health conditions and report changes to senior staff and physicians.

Lead, supervise, and mentor care staff to ensure high standards of care.

Ensure compliance with all aged care standards, infection control protocols, and Change Medical procedures.

Document all care activities accurately and maintain up-to-date records.

Requirements:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Previous experience in residential aged care (highly regarded).

Strong clinical skills and decision-making ability.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (as per current public health requirements).

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Personal Care Worker (PCW)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with daily living tasks including showering, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting.

Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of residents' personal spaces.

Observe and report any changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff.

Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in all aspects of care.

Accurately complete documentation and follow care plans.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.

Previous experience in aged care or a similar role preferred.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and a compassionate, patient nature.

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
