We are expanding and looking for a Nursery Hand to join our small team. If you are considering a career in horticulture, then an apprenticeship maybe offered to the right person.

This role will be varied from day to day, including the following: potting using potting machine, pruning, weeding, staking, picking orders, dispatching plants, learning the varieties of plants, fertilising, loading trucks, moving plants, property maintenance, driving tractors with trailers, driving golf carts and side by side buggies. Ideally you have worked in a nursery, or landscape company or farm and not afraid of hard work. You must be willing to work in all weather conditions and be physically fit as repetitive manual work and heavy lifting is involved.

A driver's license and own transport is essential as public transport is very limited in the area. Ideally you will live within 30 minutes of Dural. The role is full time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm. No weekend work. After a trial period, this is a permanent position. (Holiday and sick leave included)

We are, Engall's Nursery a production nursery located in Dural on 9 beautiful acres, in Sydney's North-Western suburbs. We are specialist growers of Citrus, Roses and Fruit Trees. We produce a high standard of plants supplying a variety of wholesale and retail customers from Nurseries, Garden Centres, Chain Stores, Landscapers and the general public. We are a family owned and operated business that has been operating for 75 years, spanning three generations. We are a small team of 12 where everyone is hands on and involved. You won't just be a number here; you will be part of the team.
