Project Manager – Renewable Energy (12-Month Fixed Term)
Location: North Sydney - Close to Metro
Rate: $73-75/hour + leave accrual (~$145-$150K p.a. equivalent)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Large Scale SolarProject Manager to join a busy renewable energy team delivering utility-scale solar and battery power conversion projects. With around 71 projects active or upcoming, you’ll step into an established portfolio and take the lead on planning, delivery, and stakeholder coordination from contract award through to project completion.
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects, from contract award to completion, ensuring technical, commercial, and contractual commitments are met
• Review and interpret contracts, identify and mitigate risks, manage variations, and track milestones to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Coordinate closely with engineering, sales, and commercial teams to align technical requirements with project deliverables
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and international headquarters in Germany, maintaining clear and timely communication across all stakeholders
• Prepare and present regular project status updates, escalating issues when necessary to ensure successful outcomes
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while navigating a fast-paced portfolio of multiple concurrent projects

About You

• MUST HAVE project management experience in large-scale solar, battery, or power conversion systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience in renewable energy engineering
• Strong background in contract administration and stakeholder management
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and liaise with internal/external and overseas (Germany) stakeholders.
• Highly organised with excellent communication and time management skills
• Able to adapt quickly and work effectively in a high-activity environment
• Able to travel domestically for site visits (every few months)
