Early Childhood Teaching/Room Leader Position

We are seeking an innovative Early Childhood Teacher to lead excellence in practice with a team focused on driving change with respectful relationships, social justice and social impact.

Forbes Child Care Centre Inc. is a community-based children's service and has been established for over 35 years. We are a highly regarded team, who provide Early Learning and OSHC programs to the families of Forbes and surrounding areas.

Essential:

Bachelor of Education Early Childhood or an Early Childhood Teaching Degree recognised by ACECQA . (Will consider applicants working towards their Early Childhood degree)

Strong Leadership and communication skills with proven ability to set direction and standards while empowering and developing team members

Shows initiative and is an effective decision maker, taking responsibility for room's success

Great time manager, with ability to achieve room requirements

Up to date with current and innovative ECEC practices

In depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework

Current Working with Children Check

Experience delivering high quality early education and care

First Aid Qualification including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
