We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck and Dog Drivers on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane to operate heavy vehicle combinations for the safe and efficient transportation of materials such as gravel, sand, soil, or construction products. This role involves driving a truck and dog, tipping loads, and ensuring compliance with road safety and load regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate truck and dog trailer combinations in compliance with road laws and company policies.

Transport and deliver bulk materials to and from various sites as scheduled.

Operate tipping mechanisms to unload materials at designated locations.

Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance reporting on vehicle condition.

Maintain accurate paperwork as required.

Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight restrictions.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members.

Follow site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Keep the cab clean and in good condition, The truck will get washed for you

Requirements:

Current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) license or Multi Combination (MC) license.

Proven experience driving truck and dog trailer combinations.

Sound knowledge of road transport regulations and fatigue management.

Ability to perform basic vehicle safety checks.

Physically fit and capable of climbing in/out of trucks and performing manual tasks.

Excellent time management and reliability.

White Card (Construction Induction Card) – preferred.

Desirable:

Experience in civil construction or earthmoving projects.

Familiarity with GPS or telematics systems.
