About the role

We are seeking a Truck Driver to join our family run business at Nash Truck & Machinery in Cairns, QLD 4870. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, delivering and unloading materials safely and efficiently. This is a casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Operate tandem tipper and or truck & dog trailer to transport materials across various locations

Ensure the safe loading, unloading, and delivery of materials

Conduct pre-start inspections, and maintain detailed records of vehicle operations

Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

Complete daily dockets

Communicate effectively with customers, and other team members

What we're looking for

Valid heavy vehicle driver's licence (HR or HC class)

Minimum 2 years of experience driving tipper trucks

Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practices

Excellent driving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills
